Jackie was until October 2009 the Director of Marketing for Qik. Since May 2008, she spearheaded Qik’s marketing efforts domestically and internationally, and helped Qik to attain its position as the world’s leading live mobile video service.
Jackie founded the non-profit Engagement Alliance in 2006, through which she consulted companies on their marketing, customer service, internal and external communications. Her clients in the US and Europe have ranged from large multi-national corporations to home-grown SMEs, in areas as diverse as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, publishing, entertainment, advertising, digital media, non-profits and think-tanks.
Formerly the Editor-in-Chief of Swiss Life’s pioneering e-commerce site, Propeller, Jackie was in 2004 one of the world’s first blogging consultants advising companies in the US and the UK on social media as an associate of the Big Blog Company.
Jackie was in 2005 appointed Head of Marketing for Latitude, Europe’s largest and most successful search engine marketing agency, where the social media initiatives she introduced brought significant results, with Latitude named the UK’s fastest growing media company during her time there.
Jackie is the co-creator of Jack & Hill, a beauty blog that has won raves from Vogue, Allure, the New York Times, the Sunday Times Style magazine, the Sunday Telegraph, and Women’s Wear Daily’s Beauty Biz magazine. .
As well as producing and hosting the What MySpace Means conference in London, Jackie has also presented at and/or curated events including: SXSW, ThinkMobile, Webby Awards’ WebbyConnect, Blog World Expo, Brand Science Institute’s Marketing 2.0, VNU’s Blogs & Social Media Forum, Online Marketing at the Crossroads, Latitude Intelligence Network, BASDA’s AGM, ValueClick’s Commission Junction University, Social Media Club, Liberty, Digital Renaissance, and more.

Jackie was born in Ohio, and emigrated to Europe at the age of 20. After a decade working in London and Switzerland, she returned to the US in 2007.
